Emma is currently studying towards a joint master's degree in business and public administration at Harvard - as is her husband
When she described her June 2005 nuptials to fellow Harvard graduate student Chris Frissora as having become "somewhat larger than initially planned", New York mayor Michael Bloomberg's elder daughter Emma proved herself a master of understatement. The 26-year-old pledged her troth at her dad's sprawling 26-acre Westchester County estate under a massive two-level tent with catering by star chef Daniel Boulud, before heading off for a safari honeymoon in Africa where Emma was planning to "play some golf, drink some wine, see the sights."

His wealth is such that he accepts a salary of just $1 a year from New York for his mayorial role.
