Posh's 'Audrey' cut steals the show at Marc Jacobs' presentation

Posh was the talk of New York Fashion Week as she sat in the front row at her friend Marc Jacobs's show along with Jennifer Lopez.

'Naiveté' was the dominant influence of the show, said the designer of a collection which referenced the American prairie and pioneer women through plaid shirts and gathered skirts with a modern boho-chic twist.

Earlier that day singer-turned-fashionista Victoria had debuted her own high-end fashion collection. Based entirely upon her personal style - as showcased recently in HELLO! - the capsule collection of ten dresses was exhibited privately to a handful of fashion's elite editors.

While David Beckham's media-savvy wife was making a splash at the Big Apple event, Renee Zellweger was also there, +supporting her favourite designer Carolina Herrera.

The Bridget Jones star had been given a prominent position from which to view the sophisticated gowns featuring organza overlays and delicate ruffles in a palette of hibiscus pink and marigold yellow. These were dresses 'so special' that women would even be tempted to buy despite the credit crunch, said the Venezuela-born style maven.
