British funnyman Steve Coogan got some high-kicking support from martial arts maestro Jackie Chan when the unlikely duo arrived in London to promote their new film. The two performers have joined forces in the blockbuster Around The World In 80 Days, a Hollywood adaptation of Jules Verne's classic novel.

Steve and Jackie may not be your typical leading men, but they managed to attract plenty of glamorous female attention at the screening. Former Hear'Say singer Myleene Klass set the flashbulbs blazing in a daringly low-cut canary yellow dress, while Lady Isabella Hervey was likewise looking radiant in a sizzling orange gown.

The new flick is an action-packed reworking of the Phileas Fogg story, with our heroes facing a series of dangers as they journey from place to place. A veteran of dozens of martial arts films, Jackie was more accustomed to making action movies than his English co-star.

"I had to kick him into shape," joked the Hong Kong-born actor. "He always took the elevator, so I told him to walk." Steve, meanwhile, said he was getting into the swing of things by the time they finished the film. "I fell off a table which is not very tough, but after all the fighting he gave me a chance to have the final moment of glory."
