Angelina Jolie and her ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller have joined forces for a peace mission. The two performers, who were married for three years, met up in the Big Apple this week to help promote a new movie called Peace One Day. The glamorous pair, who first met ten years ago when they were both cast in the thriller Hackers, tied the knot in 1996 after a whirlwind romance. They decided to go their separate ways in 1999, but have remained close friends ever since and Tuesday night's premiere offered them the perfect chance to spend a bit of time together.

Peace One Day is a feature-length documentary about one man's campaign to win global recognition for the United Nations International Day Of Peace. Jeremy Gilley is hoping September 21 will eventually become a day of ceasefire for trouble spots all over the planet. "I think it's important because a day of peace is being created," he explained. "There is now a world peace day, the 21st of September, that's fixed in the calendar forever."

Over the past six years he has criss-crossed the globe rallying political and spiritual leaders to his cause. And his latest collaborator is no stranger to the hard work that goes with campaigning for a better world. Angelina's tireless efforts as a United Nations goodwill ambassador have taken her to Tanzania, Cambodia, Pakistan, Thailand, Namibia and Ecuador.
