Vanessa Hudgens shows off new turquoise hair

03 JUNE 2014 Pastel-hued locks are the celebrity hair craze du jour. So it was only a matter of time before Hollywood star Vanessa Hudgens tapped into the trend.

The actress has swapped her blonde tresses in favour of a turquoise ombré look.

Unveiling her new look on Instagram with a seductive selfie, Vanessa wrote, "She would be half a planet away, floating in a turquoise sea, dancing by moonlight to flamenco guitar. -Janet Fitch, White Oleander."

Vanessa is following in the footsteps of fellow famous face Kylie Jenner, who recently adopted the look.

Another star to change up her look is Kaley Cuoco. After cutting her hair into a shoulder length style back in April, the Big Bang Theory star clearly wanted a more drastic look and went for a pixie crop.

Taking to Instagram to update fans on her new look, Kaley shared a picture of her 'do. "Thank you @clsymonds for bringing out my inner Peter Pan  #byronbeverlyhills #justcutitoff," Kaley captioned the snap.

Kaley's hair was cut by her stylist Christine Symonds. The hairdresser shared another photo of the new crop, writing: "This little lamb went shorter. Love playing at the hair salon with @normancook. #shortandsassy #summercut #beauty #hot #babe #byronwilliamssalon."

Kaley first experimented with a shorter hairstyle in April, posting several Instagram pictures documenting her transformation from beginning to end.

The first picture showed Kaley sitting in the stylist's chair with a look of trepidation on her face . Holding hand over her mouth as the hairdresser began to cut her hair , Kaley captioned the image "Here we go! @clsymonds."
