American beauty-guru and founder of the company, Bobbi, believes that "makeup is a way for a woman to look and feel like herself, only prettier and more confident" and this is precisely the theory behind the look she has worked on with the busy young mum.
The 34-year-old actress is the first celebrity to front the campaign but founder Bobbi admits:
"I didn't hire a celebrity. I hired a woman who I think is really cool, who is down to earth, who sparkles when she enters a room, and she photographs really well," Bobbi told a source further adding that "She's beautiful and she's relatable."
Katie, who recently split from her husband and fellow actor Tom Cruise in 2012, may have been the centre of media attention for much of the year but has openly enjoyed her partnership with the brand, embracing Bobbi Brown's natural approach to beauty.
"I really like her philosophy that makeup makes you feel beautiful," Katie admits. "I've always been a fan of her makeup, because it's so easy to apply. Her colour palettes aren't extreme, so when I first started wearing makeup it felt comfortable and I didn't feel like I had too much on, which can happen."
