Gwyneth Paltrow's skincare range has launched

"We have always been outspoken here at Goop about concerns over the toxic ingredients used in personal care products—an industry that operates without regulation," the 43-year-old wrote on her website, in a note that accompanied the launch of the new line.

"We built on [Juice Beauty's] foundation in safety to create something that didn’t exist that I had always been looking for: A line of truly luxurious and effective skincare—products that take organic to the next level."

She later added: "We literally did not rest until we had a set of six products that are, quite simply, perfect."

This skincare collection is the latest step in Gwyneth's quest to conquer the world of beauty – earlier this year she also launched an organic make-up range, also in collaboration with Juice Beauty, which included "clean" products from lipsticks to blushers, which are also vegan-friendly.

The new skincare range consists of organic, all-natural products

The mother-of-two revealed that she was inspired to create an organic make-up range after researches for her website Goop began looking into the ingredients of everyday products.

"I wear make-up heavily in my work, and now that I'm post-40, I've started to wear it more often in my day-to-day life," she told Forbes. "But once my lifestyle website, Goop, started investigating toxicity in these products… I was stunned. I genuinely thought make-up as safe, but that's not the case."

Gwyneth is renowned for being outspoken about her health and beauty regimes, from her clean-eating diets to her regular workouts with trainer Tracy Anderson. However, when it comes to looking after her complexion, the Iron Man actress admitted she's only recently begun to follow a regular routine.

"I used to just splash water on my face and stick on some moisturiser," she told US Vogue. "But now I do a regimen regularly."
