'Daddy's girl': Marvin Humes shares first snap of daughter Alaia-Mai

24 MAY 2013

Proud father Marvin Humes has given the world its first glimpse of his baby daughter Alaia-Mai.

The former JLS singer uploaded a touching photo to Twitter that shows him gazing down at his little girl as he cradles her. He captioned the snap 'Daddy's Girl'.

In the background, the letters 'M.R.A' can be seen hanging on the wall, standing for Marvin, Rochelle and Alaia-Mai.

His wife Rochelle gave birth just four days ago, and she returned to Twitter for the first on Thursday to thank fans for their well-wishes.

The Saturdays star also praised her husband. "Thanks so much for all of your lovely messages. I feel so so blessed," new mum Rochelle, 24, wrote. "Alaia-Mai is just a little angel. We're all very happy. Thanks again x."

"Marvin is a great daddy," she continued. "Absolutely in love with his princess. Definitely a daddy's girl situation already started. So beautiful."

Following Rochelle's touching tweets, her husband, 28, also went online to share his happiness. "I'm completely in love with her…she's absolutely perfect.. Rochelle & I are very lucky to have Alaia-Mai…simply the best feeling ever".

Rochelle's bandmates have already been to visit the newest little Saturday — and are just as besotted with the little girl.

"All of the @TheSaturdays Aunties have just been to see our gorgeous little baby Alaia Mai," mum-of-one Una Healy tweeted. "She is so so so so gorgeous!! Making me #broody ;)."

Frankie Sandford, who is expecting her first baby with footballer fiancé Wayne Bridge, wrote, "Oh my goodness, absolute baby bliss! Alaia-Mai is gorgeous. Seeing them all together was so lovely. New little family. Come on baby Bridge!"
