Who is Dyan Cannon?
Actress and filmmaker Dyan Cannon was born Samille Diane Friesen on 4 January 1937. The actress has earned a Saturn Award, Golden Globe and three Oscar nominations, as well as a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
She's best known for projects like Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, Deathtrap, Heaven Can Wait and Honeysuckle Rose.

Acting stardom
Dyan got her start in two episodes of 1958 western Have Gun – Will Travel starring Richard Boone. Her real starring moment came late in the '60s, with Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (1969), and into the '70s with Doctors' Wives (1971), The Last of Sheila (1973) and Heaven Can Wait (1978).
She continued to have success into the '90s, with Kiss of a Stranger and a recurring role on Ally McBeal, and '00s. Dyan's most recent role, 2021's Hope's Legacy, had the actress getting back in touch with her Western roots in a full circle moment.

Marriage to Cary Grant
Dyan met Cary Grant in 1961 when the Old Hollywood actor noticed her on TV series Malibu Run. Cary proposed several times, and the couples eloped in 1965.
Dyan found out she was pregnant shortly after her honeymoon with Cary and welcomed daughter Jennifer in 1966. Dyan filed for divorce two years after they tied the knot, citing harmful treatment and revealing his use of LSD.

Jennifer Grant
Jennifer Diane Grant was born on 26 February 1966 to famous parents Cary Grant and Dyan Cannon. She's best known for her roles on Beverly Hills, 90210 and Movie Stars.
The actress was awarded a degree in American studies from Stanford University and initially worked in a law firm, before she decided to pursue a career in acting.

Marriage and two children
Jennifer tied the knot with American director and producer Randall 'Randy' Zisk in 1993. Following their divorce in 1996, she later met Arthur Hallett Page V with whom she welcomed son Cary Benjamin Grant in 2008.
Jennifer's second child, daughter Davian Grant, was born in 2011. The actress told The Guardian, "I wish he could have met them. Occasionally, a teacher will say to my son: 'Oh, Cary Grant, your mother must’ve loved that actor!' And he’ll say that was my grandfather."
