Princess Stephanie mingles with music crowd for charity

Poised, pretty and quietly confident, one-time royal rebel Stephanie was in her element as she fronted a recent charity event in Monaco. At the NRJ Music Tour, a roadshow for a popular French radio station, the mother-of-three was on top form during an appearance to support Fight Aids Monaco.

If her pierced belly button and flower-patterned jeans were not the uniform some might expect of a Monegasque royal, they were spot-on for the trendy gathering. Stephanie posed for pictures with musicians who have collaborated with her on a pop song to raise funds for the organisation, which is headed by her brother Prince Albert.

Since Albert's accession to the throne last year the Grimaldi family have pulled together, with both the prince's sisters giving their all to royal duties. And Stephanie, who had a chart hit in the Eighties, has obviously been relishing using her musical talents for a good cause. Last month the princess was also in good spirits as she shot the video for L'Or De Nos Vies (The Gold Of Our Lives) on the streets of Paris.
