Infanta Sofia, 19, borrows from mother Queen Letizia's wardrobe with off-the-shoulder dress during family dinner

Infanta Sofia of Spain proved she was the queen of royal recycling this weekend as she stepped out in a stunning dress previously worn by both her mother and her older sister. 

The Spanish royal, 19, was seen in a gorgeous off-the-shoulder blue and white dress for a family dinner at the Mia Restaurant in Palma on Friday evening.  

The gown, a collaboration between designer Stella Jean and Desigual, looked very familiar – as in previous summers it's been worn by Queen Letizia and Princess Leonor, 20. 

Letizia, 53, wore it to the 2023 Balearic Island Reception three years ago at the Marivent Palace, while Leonor wore the piece in August 2025, styling the statement item with gold earrings and navy blue sandals.

Infanta Sofia put her own twist on the look, adding white flat espadrilles from Calzados Picón, and keeping her long blonde locks straight and flowing as the family continued their holiday in Mallorca. 

Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor and King Felipe's looks revealed

Queen Letizia arrived for the evening alongside her close friend, Jean Henri Fruchaud, wearing a sleeveless white midi dress featuring delicate embroidered detailing.

King Felipe looked casual in crisp white trousers and taupe loafers as she escorted his mother, Queen Sofia, into the restaurant. 

Princess Leonor, meanwhile, has continued to embrace her wavy hair, opting for a halterneck maxi dress featuring an intricate blue, turquoise and pink print.

The Spanish royals' annual summer holiday 

The Spanish royals are spending their annual summer holiday on the island of Mallorca, staying at the Marivent Palace.

The annual holiday has become one of the Spanish royal family's most cherished traditions, with Leonor and Sofía often enjoying a brief break together before returning to their official commitments. 

Infanta Sofia has had a big year and has been seen stepping further into the spotlight alongside her family at official events. 

For example, she joined Leonor to lift the World Cup trophy following Spain's victory in the World Cup, and gave her first public speech in July, discussing the importance of education.
