Zara Phillips shows off her first maternity outfit

01 AUGUST 2013 Zara Phillips debuted her first maternity dress on Thursday when she stepped out for Ladie's Day at Glorious Goodwood. The pregnant royal wore a vibrant yellow dress and elegantly accessorised her outfit with a black fascinator, a matching clutch bag and nude heels.

Pregnant Zara completed her chic outfit with large sunglasses and a pair of glittering earrings as she joined her friends for a day at the races in West Sussex.

Zara's baby bump was the object of much attention among the group. The 32-year-old laughed and smiled as her friend Natalie Pinkham affectionately touched her tummy.

Zara and Natalie, who have been close friends for years, posed for personal photographs together as they watched all the day's action from a balcony on the pavilion.

Formula 1 presenter Natalie wore a teal lace dress and a cream hat which was adorned with brown feathers.

The ladies' appearance at Goodwood was nearly two years to the day after Natalie was a guest at Zara's wedding.

A year after Zara tied the knot in Edinburgh with her rugby player love, Mike Tindall, Natalie married TV executive, Owain Walbyoff, in Obidos, Portugal.

Despite the fact that she was training for the London 2012 Olympic Games, Zara managed to take time out of her schedule to attend Natalie and Owain's nuptials, much to the bride's delight.

"When I heard about Zara's selection, I prepared myself for her to say, 'Look Nats, I'm really sorry…' Natalie exclusively told HELLO! on her big day.

"And of course, I would have totally understood. But I'm over the moon that she was able to come."

The pair have also worked together to raise money for charity when they joined actor Ewan McGregor for a fundraising sailing race around the Isle of Wight in August 2011.
