A wedding shopping guide before New York Bridal Week

It's only a couple of weeks before the opening of the New York Bridal Week when brides-to-be all over the world will be looking at the wedding trends and catalogues for the coming year.However, if you just can't wait to see which new bridal collections will be hitting the world's capitals then New York itself is also an ideal location for on the hunt for luxurious and unique details to help organise a dream wedding. From Brooklyn to Fifth Avenue, the city is buzzing with art galleries, restaurants, florists, bridal boutiques and jewellers which serve as a starting point for any woman on the search for a bespoke gown, an excellent caterer or the perfect bridal bouquet.

Or, if you're looking to purchase something for the big day itself then Made in Heaven Cakes, in the heart of Manhattan, has a small team of specialised artists to help design the perfect wedding cake.


With regard to flowers, New York is full of florists to find inspiration for the arrangements, centerpieces and bouquets for both brides and her bridesmaids.
