Few bridal looks are more inspirational than the Princess of Wales, with the royal's Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding dress influencing brides for decades afterwards.
One of those was Rosie Kelly Smith, who confessed she wanted to emulate the "elegant" lace design for her own wedding with Steve White at Sir Andy Murray's Cromlix hotel near Dunblane on 25 July.
After opting for long lace sleeves for her wedding ceremony, Lorraine Kelly's daughter slipped into a silky mini dress for the evening festivities.

Opening up about the wedding planning process, Rosie told HELLO!: "Until Kate Middleton got married, I had thought you couldn't do long sleeves without being much older. But she looked beautiful, so I wanted to wear something elegant like that."
© In the Name of Love PhotographyWhile perusing dresses online, she came across her dream gown from Suzanne Neville, featuring full-length, off-the-shoulder sleeves, scalloped detailing and buttons down the back. Despite looking for alternatives in other stores, she realised her heart lay with the designer gown, which she later tried on in an emotional fitting at the Knightsbridge atelier, accompanied by her mother.
"I had been manifesting it and when I tried it on, I knew straight away that this was it," she said. "I had looked at so many styles but this one was always in the back of my head. When my mum saw me in it, she cried."
For her big day, Rosie accessorised with a bespoke lace-trimmed veil from the same label, Jimmy Choo shoes and Dinny Hall earrings.

© In the Name of Love PhotographyMeanwhile, Rosie and Steve's daughter Billie – whom they welcomed shortly after she announced her engagement in 2024 – looked adorable in a matching white flower girl dress with ruffled shoulders and a bow at the back.
Finishing her look with tiny crocs, Billie lavished being the centre of attention as she skillfully scattered petals on the floor before her mother walked down the aisle.
Recalling his reaction to seeing his bride for the first time, Steve said: "When I saw Rosie, I just thought, 'Wow.' I was incredibly nervous but I was very relieved to see her."
