Ever since the news broke that Leighton Meester had said "I do" with Adam Brody, celebrity fans have been waiting for a glimpse of the rings that sealed the deal.
They got their first chance to take a look at the sparkling pieces this week when Leighton stepped out to a press event – her first since becoming Mrs Brody.
Sitting down at the launch of Broadway revival of Of Mice and Men, Leighton placed her hands upon her knees – perfectly showing off her huge diamond engagement ring and accompanying wedding band.
The press conference – at which she was joined by co-stars James Franco and Chris O'Dowd was the first time Leigton has been seen in public showing off the rings. On earlier outings she has taken care to hide then, or remove them completely.
Leighton and Adam took the celeb world by surprise last month when they wed in a "super-secret wedding".
Adam, 34, and Leighton, 27, only went public with their romance last February. The couple, who worked together on the 2011 film The Oranges, were originally thought to be planning to get married this summer, after Leighton's Broadway run finished.
They tied the knot three months after their engagement became public knowledge.
Adam has been romantically linked to his O.C. co-star Rachel Bilson and 34-year-old director Lorene Scarfaria, while Gossip Girl star Leighton previously dated Austin Powers actor Aaron Himelstein.
