Miranda Lambert recently revealed what her split life between Tennessee, and Texas with her husband Brendan McLoughlin, is really like.
The country star primarily owns a farm charmingly called Flying Pistols, located a simple hour away from music capital Nashville.
The accessible property serves as a getaway for the busy star to refill her batteries any chance she can get, alongside her dozens of farm animals.
She shared with Southern Living: "I run out here every time I get the chance. I've come here before just to pet horses and take a nap."
Miranda may love occasionally recharging in Tennessee, but she quickly begins missing her home state of Texas.
She makes sure to visit her family in Lindale at least twice a year, and the happy couple have a property in Austin. Her record company called Big Loud Texas is also located there for easy access.
The star explained that Texas is her true home, as she admitted that she often gets homesick while in Tennessee.
Miranda emphasized: "Right now, I haven't been [there] in three or four months. I'm getting a little like, 'I need a Buc-ee's. I need a barbecue. I need to go see Randy Rogers.'"
In order to power through, Miranda leans on her village in Tennessee, including fellow country stars such as Lainey Wilson, who is a part of her "sisterhood."
The entertainer revealed: "It gets hard out there, the highs and the lows. You need somebody to bounce it off of sometimes."
It's a two-way street as Lainey shared with the outlet: "Miranda's one of those friends who just gets it. I know she's gonna shoot me straight. That kind of friendship is hard to come by in this business. I sure don't take it for granted."
Miranda added: "I'm learning from younger people about how they're doing it, because everything's completely different than it was when I was coming up."
About Miranda Lambert's marriage to Brendan McLoughlin
Miranda often provides a behind-the-scenes look into her relationship with her husband Brendan, who was a former NYPD officer.
She revealed to Cowgirl Magazine: "We are kindred spirits, even though we are from different parts of the country. He tells me the truth, even when it is hard to hear."
The country life has rubbed off on Brendan, who finally reached a "regulated nervous system level," according to Miranda, thanks to his newfound hobbies of cooking, bow shooting and golfing.
The singer noted that "y'all" has also become a regular saying for the former New Yorker. The pair met in 2018 and got married the following year.
