When it came to creating her latest wedding dresses, the New Yorker had the modern woman in mind.
"It was meant to be dreamy and edgy, because girls today are edgy," said Vera of her new collection. "I don't think of bridal anymore as a niche. Hopefully, people will realise that these dresses can be worn for anything. They just happen to be white."

The out-of-the-box dresses featured tulle, ballgown skirts, floral overlays, dainty spaghetti straps and long-sleeved lace bodices among other elements.
Theia's crop top wedding dress
One particular stand out piece was the daring crop top dress. The outfit was made up of a fairytale tulle skirt contrasted with a tight top — fit for the bride who is comfortable with baring her stomach.
The introduction of the crop top was bang on trend as proven by another designer Theia, who unveiled a stunning two-piece gown. The Irish fashion house paired the lace high-neck crop top with a tight waistband satin skirt.
