Rick Edwards has married EastEnders actress Emer Kenny in a lavish ceremony at Kew Gardens. The couple tied the knot over the weekend and have since been sharing photos from their big day on social media, with Emma telling fans she's "not ready for it to be over".

Guests at the ceremony included Rick's former T4 co-presenter and friend Alexa Chung, who shared a selfie with the happy couple along with a congratulatory message.

"Congratulations to these dons!!!!! @rickedwards1 @missemerkenny," Alexa captioned the image, adding a series of heart emoticons.

The couple appear to be on cloud nine following their nuptials, and have continued to share wedding photos on Instagram. However there is no honeymoon on the cards just yet as Emer has returned to work on a new television show. Rick has joined his wife while she works on location in Gloucestershire, and Emer shared a photo of them both together behind the scenes on Tuesday.

The couple have been dating for five years

"Bring your husband to work day. (Who needs a honeymoon?)," Emer wrote.

The actress, who is best known for her role as Zsa Zsa Carter in EastEnders, also shared a wedding photo of herself and Rick in the picturesque grounds of Kew Gardens on Wednesday morning. The newlyweds can be seen holding hands while each clutching a glass of champagne

"One more because I'm in a rainy car park in Gloucestershire and I'm not ready for it to be over," she told fans.

The couple have been dating for five years but have largely kept their relationship out of the public eye.
