Actress and model Liz Hurley was surrounded by a score of famous friends when she had her baby son Damian christened over the weekend at a church inLondon´s wealthy Mayfair neighbourhood.
Although there was no official confirmation as to who the godparents were, superstar Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish; Liz´s ex-boyfriend,actor Hugh Grant; her close friend, aristocrat Henry Dent-Brocklehurst; actor Denis Leary and US socialite Teddy Forstman were all reported to be godfathers.
But the celebrity count didn´t just stop there. Guests attending the ceremony at the Church of the Immaculate Conception included England captainDavid Beckham with his pregnant wife Victoria; and supermodel Elle Macpherson and actress Patsy Kensit, who sat alongside members of Liz´s family for the half-hour service. Damian´s father Steve Bing was not among the 20-odd congregation.
As usual, David Beckham made fashion headlines, this time by turning up for the christening wearing pink nail varnish. Liz, meanwhile, chose a summery white backless dress and high-heeled sandals.
