The Beckhams have always prided themselves on their hands-on approach to parenthood, but with Victoria expecting their second child in September and Brooklyn now a full-of-beans three-year-old, they've decided to enlist some help - and have gone for the best in the business.

Posh 'n' Becks have taken on married couple John and Nicky Giles-Larkin, formerly members of the Queen Mother's staff, as cleaners at their mansion - jokingly known as 'Beckingham Palace' - in Sawbridgeworth, Herts. And to make sure that the Giles-Larkins, who lost their jobs after the Queen Mother's death, are really happy with their new appointment, the Beckhams have bought up a £250,000 cottage adjoining their own home as grace and favour accommodation.

"She is delighted to have headhunted royal staff," says a source close to Victoria. "She knows they are the best in the world and she wants people she can trust."

The Giles-Larkins, who have already started their new duties, are believed to have also received an offer from the Earl and Countess of Wessex.
