On Sunday Jennifer Lopez will be 42.
Instead of the lavish birthday celebrations thrown for her in the past by estranged husband Marc Anthony, she'll probably opt for an intimate party with her mother and her three-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
But don't expect the music world's fiercest diva to show any vulnerability in the wake of their break up.
Just days after announcing the split Jennifer has told fans that she's "happy".
Instead of lying low, the Love Don't Cost a Thing singer is keen to prove that the show goes on and she's going to be alright.
According to reports, the American Idol judge was paid one million dollars to sing at the wedding of the son of the oil tycoon, Azam Aslamov in Ukraine.
She was reported to have told the crowd: "Are you happy? I am happy, because I am here with you today!"
The wedding, costing an estimated $15 million dollars, took place at the Crimean Aivazovskii Hotel on the Black Sea coast.
The location was closed to visitors for several days as 500 guests arrived for the celebration - some via helicopter.
J-Lo and Marc Anthony announced last week they were calling it quits after seven years of marriage.
"We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.
"It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time," they said in a statement.
J-Lo's performance comes after Marc sang at a concert in Colombia.
He joked about his separation, telling concert-goers: "They say I am a single man."
