The blonde health fanatic, who collaborated with Stella to create her latest fashion collection, paid tribute to the British designer with an "English Garden Party".
The pair has no doubt formed a strong friendship, and Gwyneth praised her "sister" in a touching post on her blog.
"Sometimes in life you get a girlfriend who becomes like a sister," wrote the actress. "Someone who really sees you. Who is as honest with you as they are loving. Who shares a similar world view, who has similar values.
"Who is a bit of a life raft when you live in a country that you lovingly adopt, but is not your own. Who also happens to be hilarious and a bit naughty and is constantly trying to get the balance of everything right, just like you are," added Gwyneth.
She then went on to call Stella one of her favourite designers, and living up to their "hilarious" and "naughty" image, the duo playfully kissed on the lips at the end of the video, much to the surprise of their fans.
Gwyneth had no problem keeping her guests entertained. The champagne flowed, the live band played and canapés like mini fish and chips and veggie tarts were served.
The child-friendly party had youngsters running around the lawns and getting stuck into ice-cream and lemonade, while the adults sipped on champagne and had shots. Keeping with the English theme, guests tried their hand at croquet and badminton.
The mother-of-two was queen of the dancing, pulling out the infamous "Gangnam Style" moves, and cheered on her daughter Apple's performance with two thumbs up and shouts of "awesome".
Clothing and accessories from the collection were on display for guests to admire. The business duo happily posed for photographs and were joined close friends and family members including Paul McCartney.
