Gwyneth Paltrow knows how to  make an entrance, dropping her first ever TikTok video and going viral immediately.

The Oscar winner posted her first-ever video on July 31, that featured a series of clips of the actress, filmed across Europe, that saw her looking off-camera in each one and telling someone in English, French, and Italian, that she was "making a TikTok video".

As each video continued, Gwyneth was in a different location but in one moment the actress appeared topless while lounging in bed, and in another blink-and-you'll-miss it scene she was seen soaking in a bathtub.

The video finally ended with the Shakespeare In Love actress throwing up her hands in frustration to joke: "Can I please just make this f***ing TikTok?"

It's Gwyneth's first video on her personal account, but she has appeared in many videos for the TikTok account of Goop, her lifestyle brand, including a recent video in which she once again posed nude, dramatically dropping her towel in a wildflower field for a new beauty launch.

Will Smith, Reese Witherspoon and Jack Black are among the many other A-listers who have joined TikTok in recent years, using the platform to give fans an insider look into their lives, while also being a strategic move to market themselves to younger demographics.

While Gwyneth is no stranger to internet culture, her jump to a personal TikTok channel comes at a major personal transition as her Gen Z kids have both flown the nest and entering new chapters, with daughter Apple, 22, graduating college, and son Moses, 20, preparing to return for his junior year.

Both children – whom she welcomed with ex-husband Chris Martin, to whom she was married from 2003 to 2016 – have flown the nest, with Apple recently graduating from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and Moses studying at Brown University in Rhode Island.

Gwyneth is also step-mom to husband Brad Falchuk's two children, son Brody, a freshman at Yale University, and daughter Izzy, who recently graduated from Cornell University in upstate New York.

"I've been so defined and so fulfilled by motherhood. I don't even know how to articulate it. It's like the guiding force. It's what I return to," Gwyneth told The Sunday Times in 2024 before Moses left for college.

"I never really go anywhere or do anything because I want to be around my kids while they live at home. You know, it's like, 'Oh, we're doing a girls' weekend here and there,' and I'm like, '[expletive] no, I have 88 days left of Moses living [with me]."
