Chad Lowe was pictured alongside his wife and daughters at a poignant family gathering on Saturday, less than two weeks after announcing the heartbreaking loss of his daughter Fiona, aged 13.
The 58-year-old actor joined wife Kim Painter and their daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10, to watch his nephew Matthew Lowe marry Emily Markus in Santa Barbara, California, on 10 October.
The photographs show the family seated together among the wedding guests, with Chad's older brother, father-of-the-groom Rob Lowe, just a few rows ahead.

In photographs, Chad wore a blue suit and matching tie for the outdoor celebration, taking his place beside his eldest daughter, Mabel.
Kim opted for a black dress, while Mabel wore a sleeveless cream design, later adding a black jacket. Youngest daughter Nixie wore a pink dress with delicate straps.
Chris Pratt was seated on Chad's other side, while Rob watched the ceremony alongside wife Sheryl Berkoff and their younger son, John Owen Lowe.
The occasion brought the brothers and their families together following the announcement of Fiona's death on 29 September.
Rob Lowe's son Matthew marries Emily Markus
Matthew, 33, is Rob and Sheryl's eldest son and the older brother of John Owen. As Chad's nephew, he is also a cousin to Mabel, Fiona and Nixie.
The groom and Emily exchanged vows in a ceremony officiated by Gwyneth Paltrow, with a host of familiar faces joining their loved ones for the celebration.
Cameron Diaz, Katy Perry, Zoe Saldaña, Adam Levine, Behati Prinsloo and Maria Shriver were among those reported to have attended.
The wedding followed Matthew and Emily's engagement in July 2025, marking a new chapter for the couple more than a year after they shared their news.
Chad Lowe remembers daughter Fiona
The family gathering came days after Chad returned to Instagram Stories on 8 October, sharing a reflective clip from Olivia Hunt's On Healing podcast.
The post featured author Gerry Hussey discussing spirituality and connection. Chad reposted the footage without adding a message of his own.
Fiona was the middle of Chad and Kim's three daughters, between older sister Mabel and younger sister Nixie.
When announcing her death, the family remembered a creative young girl who loved to dance and was cherished by her parents and sisters. Their statement also asked for privacy as they faced their loss.
"We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona," the family said in the statement released on 29 September.
Their tribute ended with a simple expression of how much she meant to them: "In fact, she was the light of our lives."
