Christine Bleakley has opened up about her wedding plans to footballer Frank Lampard, after months of speculation that their nuptials had been cancelled or postponed. The 34-year-old TV presenter has revealed that the ceremony will most likely take place in late summer next year, after the 2014 World Cup. "We always knew we wanted to wait. Last year it was up in the air because we didn't know whether Frank was coming back to Chelsea and now it's the World Cup. "We don't know if Frank is going — it would be wonderful if he did — but I am more than happy to hold off for another few weeks because England are in the World Cup. I don't think there's a better reason really. "Christine, who got engaged to her footballer fiancé in 2011, added that the couple have yet to find a venue. "We haven't booked anything," said the brunette beauty. "I don't want a big fancy do with thousands of people. I'm very relaxed about it. It's going to be very much based on a typical Northern Irish wedding. You get properly fed, you have a good old booze-up and the music has got to be fantastic."

Life on the home front, meanwhile, couldn't be happier. Christine has grown close to Frank's two daughters, Luna, eight and six-year-old Isla, and enjoys looking after them when Frank is on the road with football commitments, and the girls' mother Elen Rivas is away. "Sometimes I'll have the girls on my own for four days a week, so I do have quite an intense relationship with them," said Christine. The television personality, who has been busy working on her new show Off The Beaten Track, also spoke about one day having children. "It's always been a big deal for me to have children," said Christine. "It's the biggest thing a woman will ever do. If it happens, it would be wonderful. But the wedding will be first. Let's get one palaver out of the way and then we'll deal with the next drama."
