Khloé Kardashian has denied that a downbeat and poignant message she posted on Instagram referred to the recent breakdown of her marriage to Lamar Odom.
On Friday the reality star, who filed for divorce from Lamar two weeks ago, uploaded a reflective note which said "everything is so temporary," and stated that "forever in an empty promise."
Many of Khloé's fans were quick to assume that the message was directed at Lamar, a claim she dismissed on Saturday.
"Stop making nothing in2 something," she wrote. "If I wanted 2direct something towards some1 u will know. Im posting things I personally enjoy. Get a life."
Days before she posted the picture, Khloé had been keeping her fans updated about Christmas at the Kardashian household.
On Christmas Day the 29-year-old released a photo of herself and her younger sister Kendall Jenner wearing festive matching onesies.
"We need a nap @kendalljenner," she wrote. "#OnesieMoment."
Another cute image showed Khloé hugging her nephew Mason Disick which was simply captioned "❤️❤️❤️".
Throughout the turbulent six months that followed rumours that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had split from Lamar after four years of marriage, Khloé has relied on the strength of her close-knit family.
In particular she has been close to her brother Rob, who has been tweeting her messages of support.
"My best friend for all eternity @robkardashian," wrote Khloé alongside a snapshot of the siblings as children, which was promptly 'liked' by more than 403,000 people.
