Police have confirmed that the Avatar actor has been charged after a fight broke out at Cubbyhole bar in Greenwich village. "The photographer kicked Lara and then Worthington punched him causing the photographer to have lacerations to his nose," NYPD Lieutenant John Grimpel said. "He has been charged with assault. He punched the photographer." Sam, 37, has since been released on bail, and will appear in court on 26 February. The photographer, Sheng Li, was also arrested and charged with assault, reckless endangerment and harassment. This is Sam's second run-in with the law. He was arrested and pepper sprayed in Atlanta in 2012 following an argument outside a restaurant. Several reports earlier this year suggested that the actor and model Lara, 26, had secretly married in Western Australia, and they have since been pictured wearing bands on their wedding fingers. The Australian couple have been dating since September 2013 after being introduced by mutual friend Natalie Imbruglia.
