Fans of David Muir can't get enough of him, whether he's on camera or behind-the-scenes.
Last week, the ABC World News Tonight anchor was traveling in Beijing, for Donald Trump's two-day visit to meet with Chinese president Xi Jinping.
And as he made his return stateside, fans were quick to congratulate him over a job well done.
Following David's return home, he took to Instagram and shared a photo of him busy at work.
The snap sees him in his signature suit and tie, a navy one layered over a crisp white shirt, with documents in one hand and what appear to be teleprompters in front of him.
"Beijing and back," he wrote in the caption, and fans were quick to take to the comments section under the post and gush over it.
"YOU are the BEST!!" one wrote, as others followed suit with: "Yes!! Our favorite anchor, most definitely," and: "I always look forward to you each weeknight. Thank you David for your professionalism and dedication to the nation," as well as: "Well done on the coverage of the summit!" plus another also wrote: "May I say you looked handsome in your suit!"
Following Trump's meeting with Xi, per NPR, he said: "I think a lot of good has come from [this visit]. We've made some fantastic trade deals, good for both countries."
Neither the White House or China have issued detailed, written agreements on any trade deals agreed to, but Trump, in an interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity, suggested China would be buying plenty of soybeans as well as allegedly 200 Boeing aircrafts.
"I sort of, I think it was a commitment. I mean, you know, it was sort of like a statement, but I think it was a commitment," Trump however noted, stating: "It's a great thing. It's a lot of jobs."
David, meanwhile, appeared to have enjoyed a restful weekend following his trip, and also took to his Instagram Stories and shared snaps of his walk with his trusty sidekick Axel, his beloved German Shorthaired Pointer, around Washington Square Park.
In addition to his Manhattan home, David, who was born in Syracuse and grew up in Onondaga Hills, also spends time in his upstate New York home. The veteran reporter purchased the property, on Skaneateles Lake, for a whopping $7 million, according to records filed with the Onondaga County Clerk's office in 2019. Built in 1890, the 4,300-square foot residence boasts six bedrooms, two kitchens, three bathrooms, and a stunning fireplace.
