Aaron Carter seemingly has major regrets about losing the “love of his life” Hilary Duff after launching an emotional rant on Twitter about his currently unsatisfactory romantic situation. The 26-year-old former child pop star – who is the younger brother of Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter – took to his account on the micro-blogging website to tell approximately 411,000 followers that he’s never had a partner greater than the singer-turned-actress.
Hilary, also 26, married NHL player Mike Comrie in 2010 but they announced their separation in January 2014, and Aaron hasn’t wasted much time in telling the world how he feels about the mother to son Luca, who turns two in a fortnight.

“Don't be that stupid douche that loses the love of your life forever.. Like me...” he posted on Wednesday after user Common Teen shared a snap of the former Lizzie McGuire star, captioning the shot “Hilary duff is flawless”.
Aaron didn’t stop there and went on to express his need to impress her by proving he’s a changed man. Despite perhaps embarrassing himself online, the ex teenage heartthrob and reality star, warned that his comments would continue no matter what feedback he got.
“I'll spend the rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her. I don't care what ANY of you think,” he added. “That tweet just gave me an anxiety attack.”
The Crush On You singer filed for bankruptcy in November 2013, claiming $3.5million in debt came from a time he was not old enough to be in control of his earnings. He rounded off his tweets about regretting his breakup with Hilary by encouraging followers not to be sceptical of his intentions, before swiftly changing the subject.
A Twitter user said the actress was flawless
“People who have no idea who I am and/or what I've been through. If you're that interested watch my interviews or google me,” he wrote. “On a lighter note it's almost Easter and I want tons of candy to eat!!”
However Aaron - who dated actress Lindsay Lohan after Hilary - couldn’t help but make one last plea for fans to believe his gushing statements. While sharing snaps of his work in the music studio he shared: “Hopeless romantic... At least my music will be real when I release it.”
Hilary has not yet publicly addressed Aaron’s statements on Twitter, instead telling her 4.2million followers that she was having a “closet clean out” as she uploaded an image of her clothes on the floor.
