Jamie Dornan is set for super stardom after being cast as Christian Grey in the highly-anticipated film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey

But the former Calvin Klein model isn't fazed – he had his first taste of fame more than a decade ago when he was dating Keira Knightley.

Now, Jamie is happily married to Amelia Warner, with who he welcomed a baby girl last November. But rewind ten years, and the actor was photographed constantly thanks to his high-profile two-year romance with Keira. "I don't think I'm ever going to be as famous as her," Jamie told ES magazine.

Of that initial brush with fame, he added, "It's a strange environment, being hounded. The paparazzi are cretins. "There are so many ways to make a living that don't involve hiding in bushes outside the houses of 18-year-old girls."

Hot off the set of Fifty Shades of Grey, which wrapped in Vancouver last month, Jamie is now back in Belfast filming series two of The Fall, alongside Gillian Anderson. The actress, who plays tough Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson, has said she is "over the moon" to be back working on the tense thriller, which sees her on the trail of serial killer Paul Spector (Jamie).

The second series of the six-hour-long episodes picks up where the first series left off, as Stella continues to track Spector, who has left destruction in his wake following his killing spree.

In a statement, Gillian said, "I'm over the moon to be back in production with this team again and to step into the shoes of the elusive Stella for what promises to be an even darker second season."

Jamie added, "I'm delighted to be back in production for the second series of The Fall. Allan Cubitt has outdone himself, and the scripts are stunning."
