Following her surprise wedding on Sunday, Cheryl has hit back at critics of her new husband.
New reports have claimed that the French businessman "can't be tamed" but Cheryl posted an Instagram snap on Thursday which read: "I heard you're a player. Nice to meet you, I'm the coach."
Little is known about Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini
, whom Cheryl started dating three months ago.
He founded Cosy Box club which has pop-ups all over the world. He opens one during the Cannes Film Festival and this is where the pair are thought to have met in May.
Speaking to The Sun
, Jean-Bernard's former fitness coach and close friend, Curtis Jones revealed: "I'm so happy he has found love - but I would say to Cheryl she's got to keep a close eye on Jean."
Curtis added: "He definitely has an eye for the ladies and they love him too. When we used to go out together they would flock around us ... He is a wild man - I don't think he can be tamed."
The X Factor judge, 31, revealed the surprise news on Sunday night by posting a picture of her engagement and wedding ring.
"I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news... Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14..," read the text accompanying the picture.
"❤️ We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together.."
Cheryl's former Girls Aloud bandmate Nadine Coyle also tweeted the singer her congratulations - and hinted that it might not be long until Cheryl joins "the baby club."
"Aww @CherylOfficial you must be having an amazing time. I am so happy for you! Good luck with everything. Come join the baby club. Best ever." read Nadine's tweet, which Cheryl replied to with three emoji's blowing kisses.
