Jodie Kidd and David Blakeley have confirmed their split
Jodie and David met in November 2013 and got engaged in secret two months later after a whirlwind romance. The couple were joined by close friends and family as they said their vows in Holy Trinity Church, Plaistow. However a friend of Jodie's added that "they rushed into the marriage".
"She now admits they rushed into the marriage and they didn't really know each other well enough to make such a big commitment," they told The Sun. "It wasn't working so they mutually made the difficult decision to end things rather than stay in a relationship that didn't have a future."
Jodie has since signed up to participate in Channel 4 reality show The Jump. The 36-year-old will replace Sally Bercow, who was forced to pull out of the competition due to injury.

The mother-of-one has spoken about how challenging she is finding the training and revealed: "I'm very much on the back foot already, because I've missed so much training. Coming into this so late has really pushed my boundaries – and I'm pretty tough."
Jodie has a three-year-old son, Indio, from her relationship with Argentine polo player Andrea Vianini. The proud mother has described welcoming her first child as the most "exhilarating experience" she's ever had.
"It beats anything I have ever done by a mile. I feel very blessed," she said.
Jodie was previously married to internet entrepreneur Aidan Butler in 2005. The couple later split after 18 months of marriage.
