Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have given an exclusive interview to HELLO! magazine on their wedding plans as they count down to the big day. "This day will be how we always dreamt and hoped it would be," Mark tells HELLO! "We have both got our fairytale," adds Michelle.
Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright have revealed to HELLO! that they are having a traditional wedding
The couple reveal they are having a traditional wedding quashing speculation they will marry abroad. "For both of us it wouldn't have felt right. That's not like a real wedding in a church in the way our mums and dads got married and we want our families to be there."
The actress also reveals to the magazine how, after the wedding day, she plans to change her name.
"We will be Mr and Mrs Wright," she says. "I may keep the name Keegan for work but for everything else in my life I will be Michelle Wright."
And Michelle says that, after failing to find the perfect dress, she is having a custom one made with the first fitting this month and how her favourite bride in recent months has been Amal Alamuddin, who married George Clooney in Venice.
Michelle says that after the couple tie the knot she will change her name
"I couldn't find one that I really liked, so instead I took inspiration from various aspects of dresses I loved and it’s been made for me," she says.
Mark also reveals to HELLO! that his success on reaching the Strictly final has not lessened his fears about the First Dance. "Actually it's even worse as people are now thinking, 'Oh he's going to be well good'. Everyone has high expectations now but it shouldn't be a show dance. I want the music to come on, and it to be just Michelle and me."
