Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend Nick Gordon leaves rehab

Nick Gordon, the boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown, has ended his stint in rehab, and is reportedly back at home with his mother. The 25-year-old entered rehab in early March, seeking professional after feeling overwhelmed by Bobbi Kristina's situation.

Bobbi is currently in a long-term care facility where she remains unresponsive. The 22-year-old was found unconscious in the bathtub at Nick and Bobbi's home, in similar circumstances to her late mother Whitney Houston.

Bobbi now has what her grandmother Cissy Houston has called "irreversible brain damage"

Nick Gordon and Bobbi Kristina Brown grew up together and became engaged in 2012

On 18 April a source told People magazine: "Nick is responding well to rehab treatment with no relapses. The quiet time is good for him. He needed it."

Speaking in a televised interview with Dr. Phil McGraw prior to rehab, Nick admitted that he had been contemplating suicide.

He also revealed the "severe pain, mental anguish and panic attacks" he had experienced since the hospitalisation of Bobbi, where tensions arose between Nick and Bobbi's family after Bobbi's rap star father Bobby Brown banned Nick from her bedside.

The interview however soon turned into an intervention when the doctor could see how troubled Nick was.

Cecily Houston also confirmed that Bobbi is no longer in a medically induced coma

Joining Nick on the show was his mother Michelle Gordon, and when Dr. Phil suggested he go to rehab, Nick, who admitted to drinking heavily and taking xanax, declared that he would. He checked in to a facility several days later.

As well as discussing his 22-year-old love during Dr. Phil's show, Nick also expressed his pain at having lost his adoptive mum Whitney Houston who was also his partner Bobbi's mother. "I lost the most legendary singer ever and I'm scared to lose Krissy," he said.

"I want to let all you guys know I did everything possible in the world to protect them. I can't lose Krissy, I can't. I've been praying."
