Coleen Nolan and her boyfriend, university lecturer Ryan Brockbank, are set to move to London, meaning that Coleen will be waving goodbye to the farmhouse where she's resided for the past two years.
During an appearance on Loose Women, Coleen revealed that she and her partner were downsizing after her daughter, Ciara, moved out of the property with her own boyfriend.
The former singer explained: "It was to do with the fact that a few months ago before I met Ryan, Ciara, who now has a baby and she's getting married next year, said to me, 'Me and Max are gonna move out.'"
She continued: "Which is fantastic because they need their own space and they need to start their own life without mum or mum-in-law. She felt really guilty about it. I said, 'I think that's the best decision, but however if you do that I can't do the farm on my own.'
"I mean it's hard enough with me and Ciara but now she's got a one-year-old… The dream of it has been everything I wanted it to be but the reality is really hard."
The move means that Coleen will no longer be looking after many of the animals that reside on the farm. The star confirmed that she would be selling the horses, but that whoever purchases the farm from her would also be keeping the chickens, ducks and goats.
But thankfully, the singer's beloved cats and dogs will remain with her. "The dogs and the cats are fine with us but the horses have got beautiful new homes and I think the goats, ducks and the chickens are staying on the farm," she shared.
"I met Ryan then it was like okay if I’m going to downsize, I’ve got someone wonderful to do that with and start a whole new adventure of life with someone new."
Coleen's life on the farm
Coleen moved to her farm, which is located in Dilhorne in the Staffordshire Moorlands, back in 2024.
However, it hasn't always been easy living, and at the start of last year, she told Woman's Own: "Bills are going up, mortgages have gone up. Just when you think, 'Oh, okay, I can do this,' then something else goes up and you think, 'Oh my God.'"
"Money that I make literally goes straight out on bills, the mortgage, like everyone, and insurance or whatever. So although it looks like, wow, she's got a lovely life, a lovely little farm, and it is lovely, and I know [there are] people a lot worse off, I've still got these worries. Especially at the moment, mine is the only income coming in."
However, the property did help Coleen navigate her own heartbreak, as she was able to focus on its renovations following her split from her former partner, Michael.
