"I'll have someone help me out with a tailored suit that fits well and looks nice… but I'm not out there doing that on my own."

Taylor and Lady Gaga – real name Stefani Germanotta – got engaged on Valentine's Day after dating for over three years. The couple first met on the set of the singer's You and I music video in 2011.

Lady Gaga revealed the happy news with her fans on Instagram by sharing a picture of her heart-shaped diamond ring.

"He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day, and I said YES!" she captioned the photo.

The 29-year-old later revealed that Taylor first proposed with a joke "candy" ring made of sweets.

"First he gave me a Ring Pop. That was kind of amazing and I was crying, I was so excited," she told Access Hollywood at the Oscars. "And then he pulled out the heart-shape diamond. First it was candy. I was happy with the candy."

The singer also said that her engagement had changed her perspective on life.

"It makes everything better. When you're in love and have love it makes everything better. From the moment I met him, my heart was with him," she said.

The couple are now busy planning their wedding, and have called upon Tony Bennett to perform on the day.

"They've invited me to do it and of course I will," Tony told Page Six, adding that he didn't know any details about the couple's wedding. "All I know is, knowing Lady Gaga, it will be fabulous."
