Peter Andre has treated his new wife Emily MacDonagh to a weekend in Venice in celebration of her 26th birthday. On Sunday, smitten Peter posted a sweet message for Emily in honour of her big day, sharing a selfie of the couple on his Instagram page with the caption, "Happy birthday gorgeous one."The 42-year-old then posted two more photos revealing that he and Emily are currently spending time together in Venice, one of the world’s most romantic cities.

The first image is taken of one of the canals, complete with gondolas – "From Venice with love," Peter wrote alongside. V," the singer revealed in a caption.Peter and Emily are still clearly on cloud nine following their wedding a month ago. They tied the knot in front of friends and family on 11 July, at the beautiful and historic Mamhead House on the outskirts of Exeter.The couple's one-year-old daughter Amelia joined in the celebrations, as did Peter's elder children, Junior, 10, and eight-year-old Princess, from his first marriage to Katie Price.

Just a few days after their wedding, Peter shared an adorable photograph of himself proudly carrying his new wife over the threshold of their Surrey home for the very first time. In the picture, Emily can be seen raising one arm in celebration, the other wrapped tightly around her husband's neck.Peter, who first met Emily after her doctor father treated him for kidney stones, starting dating the pretty brunette in 2012, while she was studying medicine at the University of Bristol. The pair immediately hit it off and welcomed their daughter Amelia in January 2014.
