The loved-up couple, who tied the knot in May, were dressed to impress for one of the biggest nights for British television, with Michelle looking sensational in a fuchsia shirt dress by Michael Kors.The couple, both tanned from their recent holiday in Ibiza, smiled and waved to fans as they arrived for the awards show together.

Unfortunately for Michelle, her latest show Ordinary Lies missed out on the Best New Drama Award – the trophy went to Poldark. But with her handsome husband by her side, the actress was in high spirits as they mingled with other famous names from the world of TV.Attendees at the ceremony included Katie Piper, Amanda Holden, Danny Dyer and his on-screen wife Kellie Bright, who is taking part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing. Aidan Turner, David Tennant and James Nesbitt were also on the glitzy guest list.Winners on the night included Britain's Got Talent which beat The Great British Bake Off, Strictly and The X Factor to win the Best Talent Show award, while Best Entertainment Show went to Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

Broadchurch was named Best Drama Series with David Tennant named Best Actor, and Cilla's Sheridan Smith best actress.
