Rebecca Adlington and Harry Needs looked the picture of happiness as they held what they described as a Naming Day Ceremony for their little girl Summer, who is nearly four months old. She added: "Thank you so much to our family and friends for coming to Summer's Naming Day. Very lucky to have you in our lives and in Summer's too."

Their little golden girl, who was born on 8 June, has been given the middle name Kay after her maternal grandmother, reports the Daily Mail. In an exclusive interview with HELLO! Harry, a personal trainer, explained how they chose the baby's sunny first name.

The 23-year-old said: "When we realised Becky had won her medals in summer, that we got married in summer, and that our baby was born in summer, it made perfect sense to name her after our favourite time of year."

Motherhood is going swimmingly for his 26-year-old wife, who won two gold medals at the 2008 Olympics and a bronze at the 2012 London Games. She has been busy updating fans with pictures of the baby's progress, including cuddle time and her first time in the pool.

The Needs, who were introduced by a mutual friend at the training centre they both used and married in a beautiful country ceremony in 2014, took Summer swimming when she was just three and a half weeks old.

Describing her contentment now, Becky says: "I'm such a family girl, it's amazing having that family time. It makes you realise that that's all you really need in life, as long as your family are happy and healthy then that's all that matters."
