Sandra Bullock gave a shoutout to all working mums when she picked up her People's Choice Award for Favourite Movie Actress on Wednesday, and melted hearts in the process.
Praising the fellow female nominees in her category, the actress said: "They all break moulds, push that glass ceiling up, and they're all mamas. We're all working mamas who love what we do and we get to do what we do because of you."
Sandra won over the crowd with her speech as she scooped the People's Choice Award for Favourite Movie Actress
The actress, who recently completed the process of adopting her second child, three-year-old Laila, then went on to tell an adorable anecdote about her five-year-old son Louis.
Sandra, 51, explained that Louis had asked if he could get an award when he found out his mum was going to an awards show, and that she had told him that in order to get an award, he'd need to appear in movies or on television. Her son responded that he had acted that year, in something called "Videos 2015."
The actress said her son would say, "Thank you to the world and thank you to the planet" if he won an award
"You mean the videos I shoot on my iPhone?" Sandra asked him. She then asked what he'd say in an acceptance speech for his work in "Videos 2015." He said, "Thank you to the world and thank you to the planet," adding that he wanted to "keep it simple".
The proud mum-of-two concludes: "On behalf of 'Videos 2015,' thank you to the planet, and on behalf of this momma, I would like to say thank you to the people on this planet for once again the great company, giving me a memory, and this [award]."
