Sandra Bullock debuted a new tattoo at the European premiere of Practical Magic 2 on Wednesday, August 26.

The 62-year-old turned heads at London's Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in a stunning leopard-print Givenchy gown designed by Sarah Burton.

The dress featured a structured corset top and an elaborate skirt with a near-waist-high slit, which she paired with layered gold necklaces and feathered black open-toed heels.

The strapless gown exposed Sandra's back, revealing a delicate cursive tattoo on her shoulder that reads "LB²."

The dainty ink, which Sandra has not publicly discussed, appears to be an homage to her two children, son Louis, 16, and daughter Laila, 12, and her late partner Bryan Randall, who died on August 5, 2023 at 57 after a three-year battle with ALS.

Fans on social media were certainly convinced that Sandra's new tattoo has sentimental meaning, with one writing on X: "I'm theorizing about Sandra Bullock's new tattoo and we came to the conclusion that the L squared is for Louis and Laila but the B is for Bryan."

Another said: "She has two children whose names begin with the letter L, and there's a 2 above the letters. I believe it's for both of them, right?"

A third added: "Sandra Bullock has a new tattoo. We can't help but wonder if it's for Laila and Louis."

Louis and Laila, whom Sandra adopted in 2010 and 2015, respectively, were incredibly close to Bryan and handled his illness "very differently."

"Oh, [they were] completely aware. Absolutely aware, because eventually, once there is a situation where you're bedridden, we all have to go there," she said on the SmartLess podcast.

"It was in my house, and I did my best to set up whatever I could, and I am lucky in that I had the means to pay for it."

"They could see," she continued. "They have eyes. And, they are very, very astute kids. Very astute because they not only see the physical change, [but] there's a behavior that changes in all of us."

Sandra added: "Louis handled it very differently than Laila. About two years before Bryan passed, he saw it was a dynamic that wasn't healthy for him to be around. So, he's very evolved. He's like, 'You know what? I'm here for you.'"

The Miss Congeniality star added that she didn't want Louis to feel like he had to be the man of the house during Bryan's ALS battle, which he was diagnosed with during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Sandra's tattoo also appears to pay tribute to her late partner, Bryan Randall, who died in 2023

"I want him to be a kid during a pandemic when everything is already [expletive] anyway, and people are suffering everywhere," she explained.

"So me asking for help, I felt the guilt because everyone else was already suffering. But he chose to just be there, and support and help me on the things that were easy for me."

As Bryan's illness progressed, Louis took a step back from seeing him, which his mother supported. Her daughter stayed by Bryan's side until "about six months" before his death, after which she stepped back like her older brother.
