Rita Ora and Beyoncé put rumours to rest at the Met Gala, posing for a selfie together to allay reports of a rift. British singer Rita posted the close-up photo and captioned the image with one word – 'Family' – thereby dismissing speculation that she is the 'Becky with the good hair' referred to in Beyoncé's new album Lemonade.
Rita, 25, had been accused of having an affair with Jay Z after Beyoncé hinted on her track Sorry that the rapper had cheated on her with 'Becky'. Fans believed that Rita had been dropping hints that the song was about her – Rachel Roy has also been placed at the centre of the scandal.

In addition to the new photo, Rita had previously taken to Twitter to deny the rumours. "I never usually address tabloid gossip but let me be clear, these rumours are false," she wrote. "I have nothing but the utmost respect for Beyoncé. Let's continue enjoying Lemonade."
Beyoncé and Jay have put on a united front since the release of the album. Although the superstar singer attended Monday night's gala without her husband, she used the opening night of her Formation world tour last week to pay tribute to him.

"I want to dedicate this song to my family," she said, before launching into her ballad Halo. "Thank you guys for supporting me. I wanna dedicate this song to my beautiful family. I love you so much, Blue. I love you so much."
The couple also celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary just last month, and headed out for a dinner date with a few friends and Beyoncé's mum Tina Knowles.
A fellow diner told People that the pair looked "sweet, chill and loving. As soon as they came in, Jay sat right down next to Beyoncé and put his arm around her – he was protective of her".
