Christina Aguilera reveals son's daring hobby: 'He's going to give me a heart attack!'

Christina Aguilera has a little daredevil on her hands. The Voice star revealed this week that he eight-year-old son Max is a huge fans of parkour – also known as free running – and that she is struggling to accept his fearless new hobby.

"Max is into this new sport a.k.a free running, parkour. It's all these crazy men jumping off of buildings and stuff. He's just like this little acrobat," Christina revealed during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "He'll be in Cirque du Soleil one day or something, he's just that guy."

As Ellen showed a video of Max in action, Christina said: "Look at him, training already to jump off of buildings one day and give me a heart attack - it's awesome!"

Max's interest means that he isn't particularly interested in his mum's starring role in The Voice. But there is one show he would love to see her do.

The star opened up about family on The Ellen DeGeneres Show

"He couldn't care less that I'm on The Voice - the chairs, the whole thing, he couldn't care less," she smiled. "But if I was on American Ninja Warriors he would literally want to come to work with me every day. Then I'd be cool, the cool mom."

Christina, 35, also spoke her daughter Summer Rain, who will be two in August. "She's swimming right now," she revealed. "Already. I know, it freaked me out a little, but it's actually a safety thing!"

Christina has been engaged to Matthew Rutler since February 2014

Christina welcomed Summer with fiancé Matthew Rutler in August 2014. The couple have been engaged since February 2014.

Max, meanwhile, is her son from her first marriage to Jordan Bratman. The couple dated for two years before tying the knot in November 2005 in Napa County, but the couple split in October 2010, and their divorce was finalised in April 2011.
