Meghan has headed home to Canada

"There's been a lot of talk of her being introduced to the Queen and Prince Charles but there simply hasn't been time."

Meghan arrived in London a few days after Prince Harry returned from Canada after spending four days with the actress.

Although the star didn't attend any official engagements with the Prince while in London, she was spotted shopping around Kensington Palace shortly after Prince Harry released a heartfelt statement requesting that the media respect her privacy.

"The past week has seen a line crossed," the statement read.

"His girlfriend, Meghan Markle, has been subject to a wave of abuse and harassment. Some of this has been very public – the smear on the front page of a national newspaper; the racial undertones of comment pieces; and the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and web article comments."
