Scarlett Johansson and Romain Dauriac have reportedly ended their two year marriage. The 32-year-old actress, who was recently pictured without her wedding ring, separated from her husband last summer, a source confirmed to People magazine.
A friend of French journalist Romain told the publication: "I've been expecting this for some time. Romain and Scarlett has never made sense to me. They aren't equals. There's always been something wrong with this picture."

The couple, who are parents to two-year-old daughter Rose Dorothy, were first linked back in October 2012, and by the following September, Romain had proposed with a beautiful vintage Art Deco style engagement ring. They wed in secret in October 2014, shortly after welcoming their baby girl.
In the past, Scarlett has spoken openly about her romance with Romain, the former editor of French urban art magazine Clark. "He's the smartest person I know," she said in an April 2015 interview with Parade. "I was attracted to the way he thinks, his sense of irony, how he looks at things."
The star also revealed that she first knew she was in love with Romain when he supported her during a personal hardship in her family.

"He comforted me," she said. "That was enough. I remember thinking there was a safety in that. I was accepted. There are moments like that that happen throughout our relationship as it grows and changes, moments where I feel reassured that he is still there for me."
This is Scarlett's second marriage; she was previously married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2010.
