Catherine Zeta-Jones took to Instagram this week to share a very sweet photograph of her two children, Dylan and Carys. The 47-year-old – who has been married to husband Michael Douglas since November 2000 – posted a split picture on Instagram, showing Dylan, 16, and Carys, 13, as young children, and as they are now. The two images, taken at the beach, clearly shows the close bond the siblings share. Proud mum Catherine wrote alongside: "Best friends then and now. #wearefamily."
Catherine is clearly a devoted mother and a wife, and she often takes to social media to share snippets of her home life with her fans. Just one day earlier, she uploaded a snapshot showing her embracing Hollywood actor Michael, 72, in celebration of Valentine's Day. "It's that glow that comes when you are in love," she wrote. "Happy Valentine's Day darling." Prior to that, she had shared a photo of Dylan and Carys laughing together as they messed around on a sun lounger. "When you're smiling, when you're smiling, the whole world smiles with you," she wrote.

The Welsh beauty has previously opened up about her experience of motherhood and how it changed her outlook on life. "It was scary becoming a mother, it's the unknown," she confessed during an interview with Wales Online in 2013. "I was 30 when I had my first. I wasn't the kind of girl who always wanted babies, I never played with dolls. So I didn't know if I had it in me." But Catherine said her career now comes second to her family.
The Hollywood actress has said her priorities changed when she became a mother
"My priorities changed when I had children," she revealed. "I have to be passionate and committed about something if it's going to take me away from them. I used to be able to pack my bags and go. I'm not saying I miss it at all – I'm very happy to do one movie a year and stay at home."
