Peter Andre 'in the doghouse again' after sharing photo of daughter Amelia

Gemma Strong

Peter Andre delighted fans last week when he shared a very rare photo of his daughter Amelia on social media. That decision might not have gone down so well at home, however, with the star joking that he's probably "in the doghouse" with wife Emily MacDonagh after posting the snap. Peter had uploaded a photo showing Amelia picking daffodils in the garden of the family home. But it's well known that Emily prefers to keep the couple's two young children, Amelia, two, and four-month-old Theo, out of the spotlight.

Writing in his New column, Pete told fans: "I feel like I say this every week but I'm sure I'll be in the doghouse with Emily again! But to tell you the truth, I'm starting to get a slight kick out of it, ha ha. I couldn't resist sharing this photo of Mills picking daffodils in our garden. When Ems saw the pic she couldn't deny how cute it was and she agreed you can't really see Mills' face. She was picking the flowers for her mum and I thought it was the cutest thing ever."

Pete, 44, was inundated with comments after posting the photo, complimenting him of both his daughter and the beautiful setting. "Some people commented on the size of our garden and said it looks more like a park. It is a lovely garden," he added in his column. "We don't allow the kids out unless one of us is with them." The star shared the original snapshot last Monday, writing in the caption: "Can I just take a moment. Amelia picking daffodils in our garden is just the cutest thing. Beautiful." His followers certainly agreed. "She's so beautiful, just like her mummy," one wrote, with another adding: "She has grown so fast Pete. Enjoy every minute of them being small."
