Celebrities are already well aware of the benefits of nature for their wellbeing, with many A-listers taking to Instagram to share how they've been nurtured by nature, in honour of World Earth Day.

Christie Brinkley's World Earth Day post

"Here's to you Mother Earth," Christie wrote on Instagram, adding: "Thank you for giving us everything we could ever want or need to sustain us."

Alongisde a photo of herself in the great outdoors, Emily in Paris star Lily Collins posted an emotive message.

Princess Eugenie's World Earth Day message

Along with King Charles, Princess Eugenie is one of the most vocal members of the royal family when it comes to looking after our planet, even sharing that she tries to live in a plastic-free household.

Eugenie took to Instagram on Saturday in honour of World Earth Day and posted a sweet photo of her son, August, standing next to Princess Beatrice's daughter Sienna during a family trip to London Zoo.

Alongside the image, Eugenie wrote: "It's World Earth Day and today is all about celebrating our planet and people doing amazing things that help protect it. "
