On Thursday, it was confirmed that former The Only Way Is Essex star Jake Hall had died at the age of 35, with the father-of-one being found with fatal head injuries.
However, on Friday, the Mail reported that the reality TV star had died from a chest wound caused when he crashed through a glass door. Citing an insider, the publication reported that investigators believe that a "thorax injury" was the most "traumatic" injury that Jake sustained and that it could be "fatal".
The report also claimed that the 35-year-old became aggressive and attempted to harm himself before his death.
An autopsy is expected to be carried out on the star on Friday, with the results sent to an investigating judge.
A spokesperson for Spain's Civil Guard confirmed on Friday that the police didn't believe there to be a criminal angle to Jake's death. "There is nothing pointing to it being the result of a crime at this stage," they said.
Jake found fame on the reality TV show alongside his ex-girlfriend, Chloe Lewis, with the pair joining the show back in 2015. The on/off couple were together for eight years, but called it quits in the series 17 finale of TOWIE back in 2016.
