Jake Hall's eight-year-old daughter, River, has been photographed for the first time since the TOWIE star died tragically at the age of 35.
River was featured in a series of photos shared by Jake's former fiancée, Misse Bequiri, shared on Instagram. The photos mark the first time the little one has been seen since news of her father's death.
"You before me," the model penned in the caption, alongside photos of her little girl and her elder son, Julian, 12, from her previous marriage to Danish footballer Anders Lindegaard.
In the photographs, the sibling duo looked closer than ever, smiling together while cuddling on the sofa. Other photos in the 'photo dump' saw Misse kissing her little girl on the cheek while the pair posed with their adorable dog.
The photos of River were met with countless comments from friends and fans of the family who were so happy to see River with a smile on her face.
"So lovely to see River," one person penned alongside a red love heart emoji. A second added: "Her smile is a carbon copy of his. Keep that light river, we love you so much." Meanwhile, a third added: "Glad to see River smiling."
The former reality star was found dead by police at around 7.30 am on Wednesday, 6 May, at a property in Santa Margalida, with fatal head wounds, believed to have been caused by shards of glass after falling through a glass door.
'Unbearable pain'
The update on River comes three weeks after Misse shared a heartbreaking statement following Jake's death.
"I never thought I would ever have to write this, and the pain of even putting these words down feels unbearable. There was no way you were ever supposed to go. My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter's.
"You lit up every room you walked into - your smile, your charm, your energy that filled the air. The way you loved music, how deeply you felt every sound, your creativity, your mind, your spirit. You were so deeply loved by so many people, and seeing the love everyone has for you is both heartbreaking and beautiful all at once. Your constant mission to stop me from taking naps still makes me smile."
She continued: "I loved you from the very first moment I saw you, and there was never a chance you were going to let me go. Together, we created the most beautiful girl, the one you loved more than anything in this world, beyond words. Your love for her was so strong it almost scared me, because I knew you would go to the ends of the earth for her. She adored you – her favourite person, her daddy. You will be missed. I promise to keep River safe, loved, and wrapped in the kind of love you gave so effortlessly. You are at peace now."
Misse concluded: "As my brother used to say, 'you gypos', I know you're laughing together now. You left behind your mini version, our River, and for that we are forever grateful. You will always live on through her, and you will forever be with us."
The tribute also contained an image of Jake with their daughter when she was just a baby, alongside a hand-drawn artwork of the reality television star walking hand-in-hand with the young girl, and several family snaps.
